We use Google Analytics to see which spots and vibes people browse — page views, venue views, and taps such as “Open in Maps.” Analytics runs by default; to opt out, tap “Opt out” on the notice at the bottom of the page, or clear this site's data in your browser to see it again. Declining changes nothing about how the site works.

If you join the weekly email, your address is stored with our email provider, Resend, and used only to send that email. We never sell or share it, and every email carries a working unsubscribe link, as Canada's anti-spam law (CASL) requires.

Tapping “Near me” asks your browser for your location to show real distances and place spots on the map. It is requested only when you tap it, read once with no ongoing tracking, and used in your browser. Your exact location and coordinates are never sent to us or stored. We do note the general neighbourhood you're near — for example, “Ossington” — to understand where demand is, never your precise location. Tap it again to turn it off, or revoke the permission in your browser settings.

Bookmarked spots are saved in your browser, on your device. There are no accounts and nothing is stored on our servers, and saving a spot does not add you to the email list.

Your last few searches — vibes, neighbourhoods, and spot names — are kept in your browser so the search bar can offer them again. Like saved spots, they stay on your device and are never sent to us. Clear them anytime with the “Clear” button in the search bar.

When you report a change on a venue, we record the reason you choose and any note you add — nothing about you. Reports go to our verification queue.

No ads, no selling or renting data, no cross-site tracking, and no accounts. Our host, Vercel, keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) to operate and protect the site.
